Why we built this

The problem was hiding in plain sight.

Commercial moving operations have a documentation problem. Foremen are managing multi-phase, multi-crew relocations with spreadsheets and text threads. Change orders are written on clipboards and disputed six weeks later. Pre-move condition photos sit in a camera roll with no job context, no GPS, no phase tag.

The software that exists for this industry was either built for residential movers, adapted from generic project management tools, or designed for the general contractor — not the crew running the actual move.

MoveKore is purpose-built for commercial relocation. Every decision — from the database schema to the three-tap camera rule to the bilingual mobile interface — was made with a PM on a loading dock in mind, not a PM in an office chair.

The challenge

Commercial moves are not residential moves.

A corporate relocation can span months, involve dozens of crew members, require bonded subcontractors, and carry millions of dollars in liability. It needs its own software.

Multi-phase, multi-crew

Departments move on different days. Phases must be tracked, crews must be confirmed, and daily logs must be filed — for each phase independently.

Change orders are the norm

Scope creep is expected. Every change order must be documented, priced, and signed before work proceeds — or you're eating the cost.

Compliance and liability

Certificate of insurance, pre-move condition report, LOI, punch list acceptance — every document creates or closes a legal exposure.

Bilingual crews

Spanish-speaking crew members are the backbone of the industry. Documentation in only one language creates communication gaps and legal risk.

Photo documentation is evidence

Pre-move condition photos aren't nice-to-have — they're the defense against damage claims. They need GPS, timestamps, and phase context.

Billing is complex

Final invoice = base contract + approved COs − credits. Every dollar must trace back to a signed document. QBO integration closes the loop.

The mobile app is not a companion to the web app. It is the primary tool for the people doing the work. Every feature is designed for one hand, loud environment, variable signal.

Every dollar, every event — immutable

The audit trail cannot be edited or deleted. Every status change, signature, and dollar amount is permanent record. This protects you in disputes and satisfies compliance reviews.

Bilingual by default

Spanish and English are first-class citizens. Not an afterthought, not a later version — built into the schema from day one. Crew apps display in the user's preferred locale.

No login required for clients and subs

External parties get a secure tokenized link. No account creation, no password, no friction. They open the link, see their project scope, and sign — that's it.

AI that knows the industry

Alex — our built-in AI assistant — understands commercial moving workflows. Ask for a CO risk analysis, a crew briefing, or a pre-move readiness checklist. Context-aware, page-specific.
